SMS.ac is only for the super driven. If you want a job where all you are trying to do is earn a pay check you should look somewhere else. If you are interested in growing technically and personally at a super fast rate (which does often come at the cost of sleep) then this is definitely the place for you.
What technical skills have you learned at sms.ac?
Get a job working for a decent company that will allow you to put the time you would have speng implementing the hacks necessary to keep their crappy site up and running (*easily* 50% of development effort goes into fixing functionality broken by the next software release) into your own professional development. The company I work for now gives me my own app server and db server to play with, and I can telecommute. Plus its generally 40-45 hours a week (more near a software release, but that's normal). I've learned far more pushing myself to learn than I ever did implementing poorly thought out software features at S&MFanbox. Plus the pay is much better. Yes, I used to work there so I know of what I speak. If you are truly driven you don't need the so called 'hardcore' environment that the true believers there are so keen on.
Just FYI. SMS.AC has changed their name to FanBox. Dramatic name changes usually occur when the old name is completely trashed (e.g. airlines change their names when one of their planes crashes). SMS.AC/FanBox treats you like royalty when recruiting you, but completely ignore you once you reject their offer. This company is a class(less) act.
damn... I am so glad that I have a chance to read these comments... This company has been 'after' us new grads like a wolf... shit... gotta tell my friends to watch out for this company... thanks, guys!!!
