Kaiser has a pretty strict interviewing system if you have no connections. They require a computer skills testing (job related), a group interview, and then an one-on-one interview. KP spends a lot of money in training their employees. It focuses a lot on customer service and team work. Before getting into Kaiser, I've heard terrible stories such as, KP not caring about its patients or employees. This is not true. Our particular pharmacy has scheduled employee meetings and we address every single customer complain/ recognition as a team. You get pretty good wage, but of course, it is a very, very busy environment. Since it is a huge company, it does have a lot of management issues. Like most of the other companies, there's politics - but still acceptable. Employees get pretty good benefits too. Overall, I really like my job. I worked for a year and left due to school. I would definitely go back to KP to work.
