Where do I begin. I've been going off about this place since I started.... Oh man.

1. They filter your internet access

That should be enough reason to not work there...

2. They treat their employees as a criminals

3. They provide their employees old equipment (I'm talking 17' CRTs from 2000, track ball mice, random aged computers -- at first they gave me a 1.5 GHz with 512 ram)

4. The IT department hold EVERYONE hostage. All business seems to revolve around convincing the IT department that you need something.

I could go on.

Anyways, the first day I was there, they gave me that crap shack computer described above. And since I had some respect for myself I complained for a respectable system. Anyways.... 21 days later I got it. So, for those 21 days I didn't have a usable computer, as far as they were concerned, I wasn't working. What was funny, nobody cared, they all just desencentized to it all. Then that leads into the bureaucracy of the place. It's sooooo slow paced.

Anyways, I'm tired of writing about this place.

In summary:

A bunch of old white guys.

The employees walk around the halls have no life in them -- they all hate it there.

They treat you like a criminal (internet filtering, won't give you the equipment you need. Then when you request something, they make you explain why you need it to the IT person, even if you supervisor said you can get it)

Always, of course I'm exaggerating a little... I can't see how this place will last any longer...

Usual embedded software job for defense. Pretty laid back, good for the new grad Computer Engineer but a bit of an intellectual limbo for the Computer Science / hard core coder.
